MRF Auction Alert

The MRF Beast of the East Conference is being held in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 13-15, 2012. ABATE of Georgia needs your help.

We are responsible for providing auction items for the conference. These items could be anything from rugs, gift baskets, motorcycle related items, to whatever we can acquire. Motorcycle dealers, repair shops, and motorcycle clubs are all good resources and may provide items for free.

Many ABATE members are joining forces to provide items that could be included in gift baskets. Since the conference is in Georgia, items from Georgia would be something we could all contribute. Georgia peanuts, wine, peaches, apples, jams and jellies, apple butter, syrup, pecans, Vidalia onions, Bar B Q sauce, Georgia arts and crafts, pottery, rugs, are all examples of some Georgia products. Savannah Bee also makes body washes and lotions using honey from Georgia. Below is a list of some Georgia product producers.

Don’t just think Georgia products are all we want! We’ll take any item or items, even Gift Cards! Put your thinking caps on and take the challenge. Help ABATE of Georgia make this auction one the MRF will never forget. When you are ready and have collected your items, take them to your local ABATE meeting, or contact any of your District Officers. They will collect and store your donated items until the conference or you may bring it to the conference yourself prior to the Auction night. Your District Officer names and phone numbers are located in the newsletter and on our abatega.org website.
